Do you accept everyone, regardless of age?
Our community is open to all ages, as long as you are able to move about independently. To ensure we can meet your needs, a preliminary consultation may be necessary.
Is the residence wheelchair accessible?
Our grounds are fully wheelchair-friendly for those with independent mobility. For guests needing extra support, our dedicated staff is available to assist you with transportation to the dining area.
How far in advance should I book?
Please get in touch early to confirm availability; however, we do accommodate last-minute reservations. Featuring approximately 100 guest rooms, Les Hameaux always has a place prepared for your stay.
What is the minimum length of stay?
Enjoy flexible stays starting from just one night up to year-round living. Whether you are looking for a winter escape or a permanent residence, we are here to welcome you.
Is a security deposit required?
For flexible or short-term stays, we simply require one month’s payment in advance. For those choosing permanent residence, a two-month security deposit is requested.
Your Stay
Do I need a visa?
If you are not of Vietnamese origin, you can stay in Vietnam with a renewable 3-month visa. An agency handles the formalities; you simply need to entrust them with your passport for a few days. The agency will charge a fee for this service.
Can I change rooms during my stay?
Certainly. We pride ourselves on being flexible; simply speak with our reception team or the Director to discuss your needs.
I only speak English (Will I be okay?)
Rest assured, our management team speaks English and is always available to help with any of your needs.
What should I do if I need assistance?
You will be provided with our central contact number, available whenever you need assistance.
Which services require an additional fee?
While our meal plans are comprehensive, please note that soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are charged separately. Specialized services—including massages, hair styling, and private tutoring—are available as optional extras. We are also happy to assist you in booking taxis for any local travel.

Do you provide medical assistance?
On-site, we offer basic care services such as medication preparation and blood pressure monitoring.
What happens in a medical emergency?
For routine medical concerns, a local physician can provide on-site consultations. We are conveniently located just 15 minutes from a major medical center, and for more serious care, we coordinate with the Franco-Vietnamese Hospital, renowned for its international standards and French medical staff. To ensure your safety, a private driver is available 24 hours a day for immediate hospital transfers.

In Vietnam, a comprehensive health insurance policy is required for any major medical treatments – to avoid paying huge amounts upfront.
